Wow wow wow to that quote at the beginning! That kind of burnout is exactly what we've been doing to our planet.
All three of these points ARE thought provoking! (By the way, I just noticed how you organize these into Sections! That's great!) Thanks so much for sharing such thoughtful things I'm not seeing anywhere else on the internet along with your really great thoughts on them! I sense so much childlikeness in you as you explore these topics of motivation. I think inner child is a HUGE key to motivation.
I've finished the book now and am going through the exercises. I'll let you know after I've done them. I found that the book synthesised ideas I'd seen elsewhere, and felt the satisfaction of puzzle pieces clicking into place.
At our outpatient clinic at the Yale Child Study Center we also have a book vending machine. Kids get to choose a book at the end of their therapy session--it's a big hit
M'agrada la idea de premiar, i pel simple fet de ser!

Great to hear that! Definitely interested in hearing more once you finish the exercises!
A BOOK VENDING MACHINE. I love this idea. I want this for kids (and, selfishly, for adults!)
That would definitely make sense on a train platform
It would. My thought was hospitals -- some place people find themselves with time on their hands, and maybe not enough to do.

Wow! I bet
